Catherine du Peloux Menagé

Catherine is the Artistic Director of the St Albans Writers’ Festival with a background is in teaching, training, educational publishing and translation from French (her native language) into English. She has also developed a practice as a perfume consultant, scent stylist, speaker, and writer on perfume and the sense of smell (Scent of Choice), speaking on everything from the history of perfume to historical scents and stinks in the works of Jane Austen and Charles Dickens. She was a judge for the ABIA awards for bookseller and publisher of the year in 2017 and facilitated a session at the Sydney Writers’ Festival with Zoe Morrison.
