John Vallance

John Vallance, a long-term resident of the Valley, is the new State Librarian of New South Wales. He has written widely on classical science and philosophy. He is a non-executive director of the National Art School, a member of the board of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and Honorary Professor for the Public Understanding of the Humanities at the University of New South Wales. Until April 2017, he was Headmaster of Sydney Grammar School.
