Nick Gleeson

Nick Gleeson is an athlete, accessibility advocate and global adventurer. Blind since the age of seven, has has an arts degree from Melbourne University. Nick has completed the New York City Marathon three times, climbed Everest basecamp and Kilimanjaro, carried the Sydney Olympic Torch and represented Australia in the Paralympics. He is also a sought-after motivational speaker. His first book, The Many Ways of Seeing, was written in collaboration with Peter Bishop former Creative Director of Varuna, the Writers’ House.
