Rachel Landers

Rachel Landers is an Australian historian and filmmaker, who is currently Head of Documentary at AFTS. She has a PhD in history from the University of Sydney with and a Directing Diploma at the National Institute of Dramatic Art. Rachel worked in theatre then moved into films as a writer/director and producer. Her films include A Northern Town, The Snowman, The Inquisition, and The Lost Tribe. Her films have been screened at international festivals. They have been nominated and won a number of awards including the AACTA Award for Best Cinematography in a Documentary. Rachel is also a writer and won The Nib: Waverley Library Award for Literature 2016 for her book, Who Bombed the Hilton?
