Tony Jones

Tony Jones is one of Australia’s best-known journalists. He joined the ABC as a radio current affair cadet, then joined Four Corners as a reporter in 1985. After working on Dateline at SBS, he returned to the ABC 1986 as was subsequently was ABC foreign correspondent, in London and Washington. He is a multiple winner of Australia’s leading journalism awards, the Walkleys. Tony has been a host of Lateline since 1999 and is currently the host of the ABC’s Q and A program.
